Hi, I’m Angela.
I offer compassionate, down-to-earth therapy for real life.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with a background in art therapy, counselling psychology, education, arts, and mental health care. My own experiences of healing through therapy - and the deep, transformative relationships I’ve built in this work - have shaped my approach: warm, collaborative, and grounded in real-life connection.
I believe therapy should feel human. That means a space where you don’t need to have it all figured out, where your feelings are met with care, and where you’re supported in exploring what matters most to you, at your pace.
Therapy That Feels Human, Not Clinical
Therapy with me is a conversation - not a test, and not a fix. My goal is to make therapy feel safe, relational, and approachable.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. I’ll meet you with curiosity, care, and practical tools that meet you where you are.
We might laugh, get a little messy, and explore parts of yourself with compassion and depth - all at your pace.
My Values
-
Self-Compassion
Because healing doesn’t happen through pressure or perfection - it happens through kindness. I’ll support you in softening your inner critic, holding space for your feelings, and learning to treat yourself with the same care you offer others.
-
Authenticity
I believe in keeping it real. Therapy with me is relational, down-to-earth, and unfiltered - just two humans having a meaningful conversation. You don’t need to censor yourself or perform. Come as you are, and we’ll work from there.
-
Curiosity Over Judgement
I’m not here to tell you who you are - I’m here to help you discover it. I approach every session with curiosity, not assumptions. Together, we’ll explore your patterns, values, and story with openness, not shame.

I am a Masters-Level Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Professional Member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA).
I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of therapeutic settings over the years, including individual counselling in private clinic environments like Woodstar Counselling, virtual therapy through the Toronto Art Therapy Institute Online Clinic, and group art therapy facilitation at Sault Area Hospital and Algoma Family Services. These diverse experiences have strengthened my integrative approach and deepened my ability to support clients through both creative and evidence-based modalities.
Outside of sessions, you can usually find me cozied up with a cup of coffee or tea, one of my three cats, and some kind of creative project on the go. I cycle through hobbies like seasons - from painting and journaling to playing piano and singing, diving into a good book, designing something new, or blasting Taylor Swift while reorganizing the house and watering my plants.
I’m someone who values connection, comfort, and intentional slowness - whether I’m spending time with my partner, catching up with friends, or just letting myself rest. Like most people I work with, I’m learning how to balance ambition with softness, and joy with grounding.
Therapy with me is human, warm, and collaborative. I bring my full self to the work - and I’ll invite you to do the same, in whatever way feels right for you.
